This morning Truck 12 assisted the WSBF with a drill for a two alarm fire at the Xpedx building in Lemoyne. Truck 12 took side A of the building and set up to the roof to assist with ventilation. We would like to thank the WSBF for inviting us to this drill, we learned a lot with the building construction and materials which are inside.

Roof Collapse

Due to the high amounts of snow, Squad 12 responded to a roof collapse. Squad 12 and the Duty Chief arrived on the scene and held the box to the squad. Members assisted in removing the roof from the remaining beams and assisted the homeowner in closing in the window which was blown out.

Auto accident vehicle overturned

Squad and Engine company 12 were dispatched for an auto accident with a vehicle overturned. Chief 112 arrived on the scene confirming rollover with patients self extricated. Squad 12 assisted with debris removal while Engine 3-12 assisted in traffic contol.

Engine & Squad To Upper Allen For The MVA

Box 23-96 was transmitted at 1239 this afternoon for a motor vehicle accident with injuries on US Route 15 NB, mile marker 39.2 in Upper Allen Township. Engine 3-12 (Asst. Chief Sheely) with 4 and Squad 12 (Capt. Overmiller) with 3 were both enroute at 1243. Chief 23 (Salter) AOS to find a two vehicle MVA that ended off the roadway. Engine 3-12 and Squad 12 both arrived simultaneously and assisted Engine 1-23 with patient extrication. Company 12 returned available at 1320.

Earlier in the day, crews from Company 12 were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident in Fairview Township, York County and a chimney fire in Lemoyne.

Overturned Vehicle @ Slate Hill and Hartzdale Roads

Crews stabalized and secured a vechile the was found overturned in the woods at the intersection of Slate Hill and Hartzdale roads.

Annual Department Banquet

Tonight members of the department along with township dignitaries and neighboring department delegates enjoyed a great time. This year the event was held on the Mechanicsburg Navy Base at the “O” club. This year we had 3 stand up comedians entertain us along with our friends from DJ Boogie Knights providing the music. A great time was had by all.
