Working Car Fire

This Morning, LAFD was dispatched to Wesley Dr for a car fire. PD and EMS arrived on scene to find a well-involved sedan in the parking lot of McDonalds. Engine 1-12 and Engine 3-12 arrived on scene and extinguished the fire. The fire is currently under investigation.  

City Transfer

At 0145 hrs Truck 12 was dispatched to transfer to Harrisburg City station 1. City and County units were operating on a 1st alarm assignment at 1900 Zarker St. Truck 12 cleared at 0315 hrs with no alarms answered.

House Fire in Hampden

Tonight, Cumberland County dispatched units to the 4700 block of E. Trindle rd for smoke in a house. EMS and PD arrived on scene to find smoke pushing from all sides of the house. MVA with near roll over

Engine 3-12 and Squad 12 responded to Westport Dr. for an MVA. Units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident with two patients. The SUV involved was found off the roadway on a hill being supported by a line of bushes. The driver was self extricated. FD assisted EMS with patient care and cleared the roadway of debris.  

New Cascade System in Service

Tonight, Lower Allen placed in service their new cascade system. Lower Allen Fireman’s Relief purchased the Scott RevolveAir system. Tonight, members trained with the representative from Mid Atlantic Fire & Air on the system operations. At 2300 hrs the 12-10 box was struck for a chimney fire. County advised of visible fire from the chimney. Engine 1-12 arrived first on scene and found normal conditions.
