At 2300 hrs the 12-10 box was struck for a chimney fire. County advised of visible fire from the chimney. Engine 1-12 arrived first on scene and found normal conditions. The homeowner advised there was only a few sparks from the chimney and he doused the fire in the fireplace. Crews checked the chimney and found it to be clear. Units cleared the scene at 0005 hrs.
